About

Mana Pools National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was established in 1984 and covers an area of approximately 2,500 square kilometers. The name “Mana Pools” refers to the four main pools found within the park, which are remnants of the ancient Zambezi River channels. These pools attract a tremendous concentration of wildlife during the dry season, making it an ideal location for game viewing.
